Not Tacky but why on earth would you want to have your Anniversary on the same day as Valentines? I say go the week before or after if you prefer a February Wedding. As for colors, I think a deep burgundy would be beautiful, or black and use the color red in the bouquet's.
Congratulations and Best Wishes to You and Your Fiance'.

Ummmm. Well, if you did it in Vegas on Valentines then I'd say yes.
But seriously, It is never tacky to get married if you truly love eachother, no matter when. As far as colour combos, any spring colours would look great. Light blues, or violets. My advice: head on over to a greenhouse (before it is filled with red roses) and look at the flowers. This time of year yellows and purples are in, as such are most bright/vibrant colours. Just because it's Valentines Day doesn't mean it's all pink and red. Use your imagination!
Best of luck to you and yours in the future.

It is not tacky, it is romantic and very practical. You'll both NEVER forget anniversaries. Be prepared to pay top $$ for everything though because it is so popular..
Consider little heartboxes of chocolates for your guests or a vase of red roses on each table and have each guest take one home and of course, a heart shaped wedding cake would be grand.
I like the color of Merlot wine, a deep wine color for dresses. Black goes especially well with it.
How lucky you are! You might want to try and book the date now....

i dont think its tacky or cheesy it is the "most romantic day" A couple of things to keep in mind i would stay away from red and pink and any combinations of it would make it cheesy and dont decorate with hearts. Remember the cost of flowers sky rockets on that day so be prepared to absorb that cost as well most restaurants charge HUGE for food and halls typically but on a v-day special menu so they might also charge huge! If you can afford it go for it! it'll be very memorable and sweet best of luck to you!

Haha...cheesy no. human beings I doubt rather care the two way. My husband and that i've got been given married on Valentines, 4 years in the past. It exchange into sturdy. perhaps much less of a turnout simply by fact human beings did not prefer to provide up their night to come back to our reception, even even though it exchange into nonetheless sturdy. It kinda sucks additionally becuase then Valentines and your anniversary are celebrated on the smae day, intsead of having 2 seperate particular days. i don't be responsive to. i does not do it returned....even although that's not cheesy.

It is never a tacky idea to get married on any day, much less Valentines day!!!!! Valentines Day is my daughter's birthday! It is a blessing! You could go with different shades of pink, and purple maybe! or blue and pink that would be hot!

I don't think it's tacky. I think a lot of people would be thinking the same thing though. So you might want to book the church or whatever place you are going to get married at as soon as possible.
It sure wouldn't be hard to forget wedding anniversaries (that's for the husband) LOL!
My anniversary actually falls on Valentine's Day. ♥

Its a great idea but, don't pick out your colours just yet as you will change your mind 100 times (take it from experience)Don't pick roses for the flowers unless you go silk because that would bankrupt you! 2 days not to buy roses Mother's Day and Valentines Day!
P.S.
I feel real sorry for your future old man if he forgets that day I don't think you could make it any easier for him. I just got married New Years Eve so mine better not forget either!!
Good Luck!

Very romantic day for a wedding. Book everything well in advance for the wedding though.
I shared the same anniversary date and unless we made reservations 1 - 2 weeks in advance (each anniversary) at a restaurant it was impossible to get in before 9:00 PM.
Colors for a Valentine wedding? Mauve and creme would be my choice.

Its not tacky or cheezy. Halloween or April Fools Day would be tacky. It is the one day where you can have whatever you want and Valentine's Day sounds like a great day to do that!
