I am inclined to agree with the people who said your back. However, I think that you have more options than that. Imagine the skimpiest outfit that you wear to work and then get the tattoo some place that would still be covered ny that outfit. Also, if you are going to do something small it doesn't matter as much. My biggest concern with a tattoo was always whether it would show and how it would look when I was very dressed up. You know like for a wedding or a formal event.

There are PLENTY of places you can hide a tattoo if you are dressed for work.

And unfortunately, some of the people above you are a bit misinformed.

Just because you get a tattoo does NOT mean that it's going to be sagging completely off of your body somewhere down the road.

What they don't realize, is that they're skin is probably going to be sagging, too. And ours will just be a lot more colorful. :)

Also, getting a tattoo over a boney area does not mean that it is going to hurt more.

I have had tattoos on areas that are a bit more fatty, and they about had me jumping out of the chair.

So just choose a place that you feel is right. Not based on how much it's going to hurt, or what it's going to look like when you're 80.

Good luck! :)

I work a 9-5 job and I have three tattoos -- the best place is your shoulder blade. Remember the more skin, the less painful -- if you put it directly to a bone it will hurt a lot more.

i've got a small tattoo on my left hand which isn't problematic for my job. typically, it's smarter to get something out of sight, yet still there. try a shoulder blade, that's prolly best place to start.

WHATEVER YOU DO, do not get a tribal lower back tramp stamp. there's no thought put into those, it's merely just a cosmetic show and diversion from your booty. any guy sees that, and they'll automatically lose respect for you.

tattoos should be for personal reasons, have it mean somethin. somethin you think is cool now, might be regrettable next week, month, year.

Hi there

First you have to evaluate what type of clothing you like to wear. if the tattoo is menat to be on display, then you can get it anywhere you like. If you are wanting it concealed, than I find naval tattoos very sexy. Dont get your lower back. It's such a lame place, and you will be stereotyped even more as a slut than you would be with a tattoo elsewhere on your body. And dont get one on the BOTTOM OF YOUR FOOT! lol. Who the hell said that? Ribcage tattoos look very cute, and they are usually all covered. They hurt like hell though.

there doesn't have to be a creative place. you could pretty much get a tattoo anywhere on your torso, back or thighs and be safe as far as nobody seeing them... unless your 9-5 job consists of dressing kinda trampy. nobody at my job ever sees my tattoos because i wear clothes.

I have one on my foot, towards the pinky toe. Shoes cover it if necessary, and no one really looks at feet anyways. I wanted to be able to see it myself, but not have it hanging out for everyone else to see (or to get it in a place that is prone to stretch marks or fat deposits!). I am an attorney, and 99% of people don't even see it.

the back is probably your best bet. Anything around the legs or stomack would sag or wrinkle when you get older, and I hear the ones on the ankles tend to fade easily for some reason.

The top of your head. Shave a small circle up there. If you are tall or wear a scarf no one will be able to tell.

Or, your foot (the bottom).
