Hi,

Does anyone here know about Call Centre Phone System? What are the differences between Avaya, Alcatel and Nortel? Which is the best abd why?

Please advise. thanks in advance!

I myself am more partial to Nortel, why because I have worked on these some of the the Nortel products and are more familure with these.

It really depends on what you're needs will be, (voicemail, ACD, UCD, certain features {hold, Call forward, Call pickup group, ect.....}, # of phones needed, ect.......

Best advice is to figure out what your needs will be and might be in the future. Contact a local contractor that installs telephone systems, they should be able to suggest what kind of system will work best for you/your company. Once you find out what they are suggesting to install you can always reserch that system to see if the numbers jive.

Everyone has their preference, but Avaya is generally know as the leader in Large call centers of the world. I would not recommend buying a call center off a website. You want someone who will work with you ongoing.

If this is a small system, look at the IP Office. Call center is built into it, all you pay for is the reporting (and not much at that).
