30% of your daily calories should be from fat, 10% of that being saturated fat. I can't give you an exact number because I don't know you height, age, and the important stuff. The Nutrition Facts on food labels are based on a 2,000 calorie diet so:
30% of 2,000 is 600.
Each gram of fat has 9 calories.
So the average person should eat around 66-67 grams of fat.

Does that help?

It's a bit tricky to answer this question. We need about 25-30% of our daily caloric intake to be made up of lipids (fat). For a 65 kg individual this translates into about 60 to 80 grams of fat per day.

I need about 60 grams of fat a day.

It depends on height, weight, age, gender, etc.
