Religion isn't just for money. A lot of people draw strength and hope from it. But religion is also a very good business. Just look at the clothes, homes and cars that ministers and preachers have.

Stop watching so much TV, get in touch with the real world. Most Churches are just getting by. Go to a mission that feeds the poor and help serve meals. Go to the Salvation Army in time of a disaster and help rescue victim of this disaster. Go to Africa and feed the hungry or go to Haiti and help educate the young. Don't talk the money stuff to me, while you sit in comfort and slug back a beer.

In many cases it is, but there are some true Christians out there that are doing God's will, and they are doing it very efficiently. Remember that no organization can exist without its participants helping out. There are buildings that need to be built and maintained, utilities that must be payed, supplies that must be purchased, and so on. Christians must apply Bible principles when donating to their organizations and they need to be cautious also. Many groups have mismanaged, robbed, and have taken advantage of good hearted people to benefit themselves with what belongs to God, and they will not go unpunished. I do support my Christian organization of over 7 million members world wide, and I know that every penny that I donate is going for the ministry to which I belong, there is not a single doubt about it. May Jehovah bless all those True Christians in over 235 lands that preach the Good News of God"s kingdom in over 400 languages....KECK

No. It is just another story of the great question of the sun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ-kvw1fYXs =)
12 disiples 12 months. Sun of god ;) Heavan is always percieved as light breaking through the clouds. The sun (if you look at as a head) the beams can look like a thorny halo. He begins his fathers work at the age of 12....the start of a new year. Xmas is just the celebration of the winter solstice. It makes sense. I know christians will disregard this but to you atheists and agnostics here is a better understanding.

Originally it is to establish the laws of the material world (Maya) so the fallen conditioned souls could become purified and return back Home. But man has corrupted it in every way. Though their are a few sincere religious practitioners.

No, the reason why the people of God provides money to the pastor is to help the church. I don't think people quite remember when they ask Bishop So and So to come to the Hospital and pray for Timmy Two Shoes. Think Bishop So and So has to pay for Gas and his time. We need to pay him someway.

No. Some people are just greedy and use it for that. You have to be careful about believing everything you hear.
But I am a Christian, and it doesn't cost me anything, and I don't get any money from it. I am a Christian because it's the truth...
