I think you got it mixed up. the news stated Bush would like to increase the military in iraq by 25,000 more soldiers. He can't do that unless the congress approves the proposal, which is unlikely since Democrats are trying to stop the war. As far as the military goes, they protect United States. Also, there are a few people who do not agree with the cause. There are very few people who actually know why we're in Iraq and so far it does not benefit the U.S.

Of course you would be listening to the liberal controlled mainstream media. Just because they have a few people saying that the military does not support Bush, does not mean that is the case.
There have been a couple of high ranked people who have recently resigned because they do not support the big cause of the war, but that is it. Sure, there are a lot of soldiers that aren't in agreements with what is going on, so that is who the media is fixaxting thier attention on to help with thier own agenda.

I'd have a hard time believing that the military is turning against the President... the President is the Commander-in-Chief of the military, which means that he is basically the highest officer, able to hand down orders to anyone, anytime. The only exception is declaring war, which is declared by Congress.
The military turning against it's leader is highly unlikely anywhere, especially the U.S.

I doubt that they are. If they were, we'd be seeing wall to wall coverage of the recent Hillary Clinton and John Kerry visits to the troops in Iraq.. surrounded by their supportive uniformed troops. Instead, we see zero, zip, zilch coverage of them schmoozing with the troops in the mainstream media. I wonder why?

The military is not turning against President Bush. Your premise is faulty. Even entities that have been no fan of the President, like The Economist, agree with the strategy to reinforce in Iraq. I'm in the service and I support the move.

How would you know, erudite? You bailed out on the military years ago. What in the world happened to make you such an incredibly bitter person? Didn't any peace demonstrators pay you any attention when you returned from 'Nam?
Oh, I see, you saw it on TV and on the internet -- such fine sources of information. Pshaw.
Get a life, erudite.

The Military is not turning against President Bush. It is the liberal media, actually all media is liberal. It is the media that is trying to show that perception.
