You should wait until you're married and with the person you're going to be with the rest of your life. sex before marriage leads to pregnancy, std's and all that good stuff. whether anybody likes it or not, sex becomes the main focus in a bf/gf relationship. And if that sex ever stops, the relationship falls apart. Thats what it becomes all about. Its sad really. i wish i would have waited until i found my husband, it would have made it alot more special to know that my husband was my first and vis versa. Just be careful if you don't decide to wait.

I think both of those definitely matter... if you're really young you can still be mature for your age, but because you're young, you might not know what's best for you at the time and you could be more confused about everything than you think. Chances are if you have sex when you're young, you'll regret it later on. Maturity matters for any age because if you're not mature enough to take on the responsibilities of being sexually active, then you should not be having sex.

I don't think there's a magic age. The right time to have sex is when you are mature enough to handle the responsibilities of the effects that sex can bring to you. When you can deal with ant consequence that a "mistake" can bring to you weather it is pregnancy or even a disease.

I think In your late teens early 20's is normal, some people wait til they're married. I guess it depends on the person whether they're curious to find out if its as great as everybody says it is. Maybe they find the right person and that person is pressuring them into doing it. You should do what you feel is right , don't let anybody talk you into doing some thing you don't want to do.

Wait till you find someone you love and someone who loves you enough to get married. "Why buy the cow when you can get the sex for free."
