A good friend of mine who is Wiccan gave me a gift of a leather bracelet, and right before he put it on my arm he kissed it... I asked him what it was for, and he stated "You'll know what it's for when the time comes." He has since moved away, and I have not ever been able to ask him what the meaning of the braclet is, or why he kissed it before

I'm not Wiccan, and I don't know much about it either, but it sounds like something your friend just did.

I've been a practicing Wiccan for almost 15 years and I'm not familiar with the whole kissing of presents thing. However, maybe he was a different tradition than I. Different traditions have different ways of how they do things.

There is no meaning that I know of. Perhaps he just meant to bless it, or maybe it was something he loved and wanted to give to you as a sincere gift.

As far as the "you know what it's for" thing, that sound a bit like posing to me. But who knows?

Hm...well I've never heard of doing that before, honestly.

Could be it was his own personal thing to do, to bless it in some way, or something. Everyone has their little things.

It's not a Wiccan thing, He liked you.

It seems like he kissed it for whatever reason, and it had nothing to do with his religion. Maybe he kinda liked you a bit...?
