Well currently i'm trying to lose 16 lbs. In the morning I eat a bowl of Special K (fruit and yogurt), for lunch I will have a salad and chicken breast and for dinner I usually eat a lean cuisine meal and a weight watchers dessert. Is there anything I should chance or am I doing right?
I also do 30 sit-ups in the morning and night and go walking in the morning.

Current recommendations say you should do 30 minutes of cardio on most days of the week (at the right heart rate for your age) as well as eating a well-balanced diet. THIS DOES NOT MEAN CUTTING CARBS. Your body requires carbohydrates for energy as well as for normal brain functioning. If you want to lose weight, it is suggested that you cut 500 calories from your diet each day to safely lose 1-2 pounds per week. Keep your fat intake low and try to replace it with more nutrient dense foods like fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and low-fat carbs. Keep in mind that exercise and proper diet must be used in combination to maximize your results. DO NOT GET SUCKERED into believing a fad diet or "quick fix" supplements will help you.
Keep trying different exercises so your workouts stay fresh. This will also force your body to keep recruiting different muscles. Best of luck. . . .

Without knowing anything else about you, I would say that it sounds great and to keep it up! I like the meal choices and the activities that you do a lot. Good job on not skipping breakfast and for choosing meals that are low in fat and high in protein and nutrients.
Good luck with your weight loss. Dont be discouraged if your weight stalls - hitting a plateau is normal. Just keep going at it and gauge your progress by how well your clothes fit.

Forget weight-reduction plan I consume like a horse and I best weigh 9 stone. This is what works for me: Eat generally, if feasible each and every 3 hours, while your frame realises that it is getting a constant deliver of meals it raises it is metabolism, burning energy faster and is far much less more likely to retailer energy as fats. When consuming attempt to consume plenty of top protein meals and do not cross too rough at the carbs. Try cross handy on trans and saturated fat despite the fact that you're allowed the abnormal deal with. Drink tons of water! At least one gallon consistent with day. Tea, espresso and fizzy beverages are O.K however they don' depend closer to your total water consumption. As for endeavor I do a little gentle weight coaching 4 days per week and cardiovascular (I use a rowing laptop) 2 days per week with one days relaxation. There is a ordinary perception that doing cardiovascular endeavor on an empty belly is helping burn energy. This is absolute garbage don't do it. Weight coaching is a well suggestion as muscle tissues burns plenty of vigour, even whilst you sleep. You do not ought to end up Mr/Mrs universe however any fats tissue which you'll convert to muscle tissues won't best make you appear greater however expand your metabolism. Getting lots of sleep may be predominant while looking to construct muscle. Good Luck

I would add more variety to your exercise routine. You should stretch in all directions for flexibility and lift some weights for strength. Push, pull, press, lunge, squat, etc. Also, it's the cardio workout that will burn the calories so MOVE frequently during the day. One short walk in the morning isn't enough. Ride a bike, go swimming, climb stairs, dance..... Keep the heart rate up. Good luck....... :o)

Sounds good. You didn't say how long you walked - it should be at least 30 minutes. You've got the two most important components of weight loss - healthy diet and exercise. Keep up the good work!
