The sacrifice is perfect and was made once and for all without necessity of being repeated. However, sometimes we still need a re-application and a re-washing if you will of our robes of righteousness we are granted when we are initially saved. Getting a brand spanking new robe is the first step. Keeping it clean and unspotted from this world while living in it, well, we have an advocate with the Father to make a trip to the "dry cleaners" if you will. Those who do not obey the Word and say "I'm sorry" to God and man when they unintentionally (without planning or forethought or maybe even knowing if it is wrong but are later convicted in your spirit) offend, then grace says we can under those circumstances recieve forgiveness. Jesus was aware of our human frailties and said to forgive our brother seventy times seventy. The spirit helps our infirmaties so just like a child learns to crawl then to walk, sometimes baby Christians will error. That doesn't mean we take it lightly or have a license to sin or that no matter what we do we can't do depite to the spirit of grace because the spirit will not dwell in an unclean temple. The spirit helps our infirmaties. It's sort of complex but if there's not a real life change with salvation experience and you do and say and think all the same things as before and never learn to resist the devil and give up those sins you claimed you repented (turned your back on completely) then you are paying lip service only to God. A sanctifying experience and being filled with the Holy Ghost and a good prayer life filled with Bible study as well as worshiping with saints who have the right spirit of truth will take care of lots of problems and prevent Christians from falling into any of satans snares. Sin shall not have dominion over you so if it still does, you need to get saved all the way and not just have head knowledge or try to do it with your own will power. We can live victorious but since I haven't attained sainthood or the incorruptible body, I will have to keep battling the flesh and crucifying it every day instead of sinning and crucifying Jesus again. Fruitless unprofitable Christians/servants will not be saved but will be those foolish virgins without oil who say "Lord, Lord" and who worship God in vain and worship with their mouths while their hearts are far from Him. The verses below explain further.

It's our nature to sin. We all do it, Christians included. What's important about Jesus is that he paid the price for our sins. You are not condemned by God if you trust in Jesus for your salvation.
That's an amazing gift that so many people refuse to accept. I freely admit to being a Christian and a sinner. Nothing I can ever do change that, though I now sin less than before. But asking forgiveness with all my heart and trusting in Jesus to take care of the rest is all I need. Now what about you?

Jesus dying on the cross did not take away from us our sin nature. His death on the cross paid the price for our sin. So if you believe in Jesus....even though, yes, we will still sin as long as we live in these bodies....when God looks at a believer, He sees the righteousness of His son, not our sinful nature.

There is no better sacrifice for sin. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price, knowing full well that many people would not accept His free gift of salvation. It is available to everyone, however not everyone is willing to accept this. Nevertheless, Christ came to free all humanity from sin, but only those who truly want to be saved from sin will ask Him to do this for them. I believe there are people in this world who believe in Christ Jesus, but who choose to reject him simply because He doesn't fit into their plans. Others just simply do not care either way.
Everyone has a choice to make, either accept Christ Jesus and follow Him. Or reject Christ Jesus and follow this world.
God did not want programmed robots to worship Him, He is a God of Love and as such He wants us to worship Him out of our Love for him. Jesus died once and for all, for all our sins, past, present and future. Tell Him thank you Lord or tell Him go away.
The choice is one that every human being is graciously given the chance to make. God Bless You....Peace.

Jesus came and gave his life in exchange for forgiveness of our sins. It is not that he came for our sins. There is only one person sinless and that is GOD. We may stumble and sin, but we are forgiven through HIM. Though we are not to purposely sin knowing that we can just be forgiven.

His coming and paying for our sins didn't make it impossible for us to sin again. We still have free will, but if we are Christians and sin and feel bad about it and want to change, He will forgive us when we ask.

Christ did not remove our sins unconditionally. He taught us to conduct a blessed and sinless life by doing the Will of the One True God. The following Messiah taught the same lesson: that we must repent and obey the law of God.

No, Jesus came to pay for the sin that we do. Our punishment for doing it is taken away.
That doesn't mean we stop sinning. Because we ARE sinners. We can't really stop without His help.

People still sin because they choose to. People also are forgiven of their sins because they choose to accept Jesus' free gift of eternal life. Which choice we make depends on us, it doesn't mean Jesus is inadequate.
