no it wasn't mean, it shows that you're not going to be took advantage of. he had his rides before you came along he can go get his ride now. don't let this boy use you, high five-you're not!!! lol on top of that, i would dump his *** for coming to you when it was convenient for him! Good luck on that one!

Ok, lets split this up a little.....you claim you didnt give him a ride because 'his school is 45 mins away', 'he is not your boyfriend', 'you havent known him that long', and 'the weather was really bad'. Meanwhile you 'have been dating him', 'you get along well', 'you wish you guys would spend more time together'. Hmmmm, that makes me think that maybe you didnt give him the ride because deep down you were trying to make him pay a little for not giving you more time. You want more time with him and you passed on the chance to have 45 minutes of 1 on 1 just the two of you quality time. I say you dont like him that much, otherwise you would have jumped on the opportunity or, now you feel guilty for not doing the right thing. Either way, think before you act. Good luck

It's 45 minutes one way!? That is pretty far, especially with bad weather. He might have thought it was mean... but if he's not even hanging out with you that much than that is a big favor to ask of you. Was he going to give you gas money??
I wouldn't have given him a ride either. It's not like you guys are really dating seriously. I hope he's not just trying to use you. Don't let him! Tell him to get a license and a car and he can drive himself or pick a closer school!

Well it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that, yes in my opinion that was kinda messed up. If it wasnt so you wouldnt feel guilty now. You guys just started talking so give him a break, Be careful high expectations at the begining of relationships, it can be a turn off. Not to be cliche'...do to others you would want them do for you. How would you feel if you were in his position? Remember, this is not a good thing for the begining of a relationship; how he percieves you may chage entirely.

Well...I think you know the answer to your question because it sounds like you feel guilty. Just because he isn't your "boyfriend" doesn't mean that you can't give a guy a ride who sounds like he was in need (45 min away from school).

No it wasn't mean! You don't need a co-dependent that uses you. It's ok to help a friend but sounds like you're being used. Don't be a pooosie at that point. Let him know the world doesn't revolve around him. And you don't have to be rude to accomplish this.

Well obviously he has friends since he's hanging out with them when he should be with you ;), so I think that it was an excuse on his part. But I still think it was a little bit mean you wouldn't give him a ride - but that's just me. Sorry. I couldn't really help you...

You may feel bad, but if you feel insecure about being alone in the car with this guy, maybe you could have someone or other people in the car if you decided to pick him up.

You not giving him a ride isnt your problem.... he needs to get to school on his own. Regardless of how far away it is. Heck he needs to move closer to the school or find a school closer to him. Dont worry about if it was mean or not.
