Of course I don't think we will lose, but I am trying to see if most people realize this is what would happen. Winning this war is a lot more important than just gas prices. I don't know if you've heard of Iran but....Its kind of a big deal.

Democrats and the liberals would celebrate.
Then Iran would lead a new offensive against Israel. They would stymie the US via an oil embargo/ Iran and the arabs don't NEED the US business, China and India will buy all they can pump out.
Any victory by an radical islamic faction will be very, very bad for the western world.

There's no way the US can win now because the new government of Iraq which they have to support is mostly made up of Shia and they are the same people that control Iran.
Eventually the US will have to retreat and Iran and Iraq will form an alliance to push up the price of oil.

We wont lose as the west will plough alot in the Yanks/Brits wont give up on that as we would lose alot of face over that war!
