I am a woman:

I like for the man to say: Hello, How are you doing today? What is your name Ms.?

Would you like to join me for lunch? or for dinner, maybe even breakfast?

From behind...with a handkerchief loaded with Ether? I'M KIDDING!

I think the most effective way to approach someone for the first time is with great eye contact, a natural smile, an extended hand (as if to shake hands) and...Hi...my name is (YOUR NAME HERE).

This sounds simple, but there is an art to it and not everyone can do it. The trick is to sort of play act that you are your own friend and you're introducing YOU to a mutual friend. That sounds weird...imagine introducing someone you're very fond of to one of your best friends. Now, insert YOURSELF into the role of the person you're fond of.

The eye-contact is engaging; The smile is friendly and (human nature lesson, here) people find it very difficult to refuse an extended hand. You're IN! You're on your own from there.

Start off by saying hello. Introduce yourself and shake their her hand. While doing this, be polite! Ask her name, and tell her why you approached her in the first place. If it's because your interested, tell her that. Let her know if it's o.k. to conversate with her over the phone and get to know each other better. Just be a gentleman!

I guess it depends on where you are when you see this woman. A friendly smile and warm hello is all it takes. Just walk up to her, give her your business card, and tell her you just wanted to make sure someone told her how great she looked today!

With confidence. That really is important. We women can smell fear from 10 miles away. Other than that, just be yourself, even if you feel you are a dork, some women do like dorks.

a respectable guy woudl just walk up to her and introduce himself. for instance, "hi, my name is bill." then you can give a SUTTLE compliment - dont embarass her like "i saw you from across the room and .... noticed that your dress is very pretty, ... wanted to tell you that you have a gorgeous smile... wanted to tell you that you have amazing eyes .... wanted to tell you that you have a contagious laugh" something not too overwhelming tho. remember to not stand too close. pick up on non-verbal body language. hoep this helped

just go up to her and compliment something bout her (NOT BOOBS) and then just try to start a nice conversation. then just walk away. she will probably come up to u cause she will think that u were tryin to hit on her, but if ur not, and just bein nice n bein urself, she will most likley fall for u!!
