No. the worldwide isn't ending. Psalms 104:5 interior the yank King James version states, "Who laid the guidelines of the earth, that it is going to not be bumped off for ever." besides the undeniable fact that, this technique (devil is ruler), purely as in Noah's day, will end. God won't enable those destroying the earth to proceed to be lots longer. a million John 2:17, in accordance to the hot worldwide Translation, reads, ...the worldwide is passing away and so is its desires, yet he that does the will of God keeps to be consistently. This ties in with Psalms 37:29 and Matthew 5:5, which states that the meek shall inherit the earth. Isaiah 40 5:18 interior the Bible in person-friendly English tells us, "For it fairly is the comprehend the Lord who made the heavens; he's God; the maker and clothier of the earth; who made it to not be a waste, yet as a living-place for guy: i'm the Lord, and there is not any different." Matthew 6:10 (area of the Our Father) from the hot living Translation states, "might your Kingdom come quickly. might your would be executed on earth, because it is in heaven." Yes, I do believe the end of the world is near. The predictions and signs mentioned in the bible (Revelation) are occuring and have been for quite some time.

Mark 13:6-8 - For many shall come in my name, saying, I am christ; and shall deceive many. 7 - And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8 - For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Each generation predicts that the end of the world will happen during its lifetime. I suspect that the enormously hard work of believing the completely illogical so wears at the fans of Armageddon, that they look forward to the end of the world, so that they don't have to carry the weight anymore.

I believe Christ Jesus is coming soon, I also believe this world will never end. The world as we know it will end, but the earth itself will always be. The book of revelation speaks of Christs Millenial reign on this earth. (1000 years) Afterwards it speaks of God lowering down His Holy city where the saints will live and worship Him forever. I believe this earth is where we will spend eternity. Gods city, the book of Revelation gives the dimensions and gives us a glimpse of what this city will be like. God Himself says, there will be no need for the sun or the stars because Christ Himself will be our light. I believe the bible is very specific about this point, this world will definitely change for the better, but it will never end. God Bless You....Peace.

If you're referring to Revelations -- that's all ready passed. It was referring to times back then, and a new beginning.

The word Armageddon in Scripture is known only from a single verse in the Greek New Testament, where it is said to be Hebrew, but it is thought to represent the Hebrew words Har Megido, meaning "Hill of Megiddo". Megiddo was the location of many decisive battles in ancient times.

Tthe book of revelations was written by men who had visions and dreams of the future.

It consists of two main parts, the first containing moral admonitions to several Christian churches in Asia Minor, and the second composed of extraordinary visions, allegories, and symbols that have been the subject of varying interpretations throughout history. A popular interpretation is that Revelation deals with a contemporary crisis of faith, possibly the result of Roman persecutions. It exhorts Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and hold firm to the hope that God will ultimately vanquish their enemies. References to “a thousand years” have led some to expect that the final victory over evil will come after the completion of a millennium. Modern scholarship accepts that the book was written not by St. John the Apostle but by various unknown authors in the late 1st century AD.

The Four Beasts: There are two primary views of this passage. The first assumes that the four beasts named here are corresponding to the four sections of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. The four beasts therefore are:

Babylon
Medo-Persia
Greece
Rome

or

Babylon
Media
Persia
Greece.

"Mark of the Beast"

For centuries Christians have speculated about the meaning of the "mark of the beast" and the number 666, both of which are discussed in Revelation, chapter 13. We are told that a symbolic beast with two horns, and who spoke like a dragon "forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead" (13:16). What is this strange "mark"?

The Beast’s "Mark"

The Greek word used for "mark" is charagma. It was the technical term for the Roman imperial stamp that appeared on various documents. The charagma was a seal stamped with the name and date of the emperor and attached to commercial documents. Apparently, it also stood for the emperor’s head stamped on coins. Thus, the charagma represented the likeness or name of the emperor.

The charagma was also a type of brand. In Roman times, disobedient slaves were often branded with marks of ownership, much like cattle are today. Religious tattooing was also widespread. Soldiers had a custom of branding themselves with the name of a favorite general. Devotees of a god labeled themselves with tattoos to designate their loyal devotion.

I have no idea of the timeline. I do know there is a seven year tribulation period that has not yet begun. That takes place before the second coming of Christ, so it's at least that far off.
