No law that says you have to stay. The question is, how do the two of you feel about each other. I don't know what kind of guy you are. She may be better of without you in her life or visa versa.
What kind of support by way of family does She have? You were
both willing to take the chance of bringing an Innocent human being into the world when you Had unprotected sex. Now face up to the responsibility for this child, The two of you had better ask some hard questions while keeping the child's best interest foremost in your minds. When DFS getts involved, you may not
like their disissions.

NO way do you have to stay. But you will morally and legally need to make child support payments. If you didn't want to be grown up and be a father you shouldn't of been having sex.
Guys.......before you mess around you need to realize that playing might make you a father for the rest of your life. The law now is very strong on making father's responsible for the baby's that they produce.
Get an education so that you can learn to spell pregnant and also so that you can earn money to support yourself and be able to support this child and any other children that you father. You need to be a good role model to your children or else your mistakes will be passed on to the next generations.

It sounds as though you planned on getting her pregnant and now that it's done you want to leave. You don't sound like much of a man so what makes you think you could ever be a father. Sounds like the lady and baby will be better off without you.
You will still have to pay for your actions just like everyone else. Don't wait for the courts to make you pay because you will only end up in jail seeing that you have already proven you can't handle responsibility.
And now that you know what causes babies do something to see that it doesn't happen again. You might get off easy and just have to pay money for this one, you may not get so lucky the next time.

There is no law but if you don't love her you should still be nearby to help raise the child. It is hard to be a single mother. If you just leave far away and never talk to her again your child will never know his/her father and it will be hard for him. Staying would be a better way to handle something....not running away from it. You could be sued by her if you do not pay child support though. So you are going to either have to stay and pay or be away and pay. When you are older you will always have in your head how you left your child(if you go far away)

No, there isn't. But you'll regret it becuase you'll have to pay out the wazoo for child support for the next 18 years.(which is usually more than what you would actually spend on the kid if you lived with them). Besides, if you're man enough to get a girl pregnant, you should be man enough to take care of the kid, not trying to duck out of responsibility. Unless the chic is a TOTAL bitc* then yeah paying the child support might be worth it... Of course, if you take custody of the child then she'll have to pay.

There's a moral and ethical law that says you are to care for that baby...whether you stay with the Mother or not. She'll be better off without you. But you do owe for the care of that child.

No law. Get a job man, you have about 18 years of child support to start paying. Don't be a dead beat. Step up and be the man and support them both emotionally, physically, and financially. It's the right thing to do.

Congratulations. You are going to be a father and the first thing you want to do is to desert your son or daughter. Aren't you proud? I do not believe there is a law that you have to stay. although it is the right thing to do. If you leave, she will file for child support and the DA will go after you unrelentlessly to insure that you pay child support until he or she is 18.

Hun, just be a man about it and stand by her side. Dont be the lower person, you see, you had sex with her. And was it good?? I hope so, and now after it, you want to bounce, I think not. Be a little humane towards this life that she has from both of you in her belly. go with her to her docs apptmnts and you will not regret this. Besides its better than child support

No law. But what about your conscience.
Ok, if you're ready to split maybe it would be a good idea to go now. But remember, you'll still have a child who will want to have a dad. Be around for the child at least.
