No we don't. We are all equal. Have you ever listened to Prophet Mohammad's last sermon?

Part of the last sermon:

"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action."

No.

Muslims are required to respect all those who are faithful and God conscious people, namely those who received messages. Christians and Jews are called People of the Book. Muslims are asked to call upon the People of the Book for common terms, namely, to worship One God, and to work together for the solutions of the many problems in the society.

Christians and Jews lived peacefully with Muslims throughout centuries in the Middle East and other Asian and African countries. The second Caliph Umar did not pray in the church in Jerusalem so as not to give the Muslims an excuse to take it over. Christians entrusted the Muslims, and as such the key of the Church in Jerusalem is still in the hands of the Muslims.

Jews fled from Spain during the Inquisition, and they were welcomed by the Muslims. They settled in the heart of the Islamic Caliphate. They enjoyed positions of power and authority.

Throughout the Muslim world, churches, synagogues and missionary schools were built within the Muslim neighborhoods. These places were protected by Muslims even during the contemporary crises in the Middle East.

No, we do not think this way, as this would be considered, pride, boasting, arrogance, conceit, ALL WHICH ARE FORBIDDEN

A true Muslim is modest, and humble in his/her submission to God

[017:037] And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height.

I have to restate the Prophet's (pbuh) last sermon as well

"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good deeds."

As to those who believe, and the Jews and the Sabians, and the Christians, and the Magians and the idolaters; verily, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Surely, Allah watches over all things.

Surely, those who believe and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians - whichever party from among these truly believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds, shall have their reward with their Lord, and no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.

Not at all!! We're all human beings with strengths and weaknesses. And I'm not just saying that to sound politically correct. I'm friends with people from all backgrounds and different religions, and I've met some really nice non Muslims. So no, unless they give me a good, legitimate reason for me to think less of them, no I would not discriminate someone just because of their religion.

"any who believe in God (the God, Allah) and the Last Day (the hereafter) and does good deeds; on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve." Only Allah knows what is in your heart; but don't get me wrong, some people are better than others; I don't know who is better or worse. I feel that Islam is for the rightly guided, but I have also met some Jews and Christians whom I feel more comfortable around then some of my Muslim brethren, who have abandoned the essence of Islam. Peace. May God guide us all to the right path.

I have also had the experience of having a Muslim tell me that eating with me would make her "unclean". We were both with our families at the hospital...

From my experience, yes.

Infidels are thought to be lesser peoples than those who follow the Quran . . .
Anyone who does not follow the Quran is an infidel according to my sources

No, we believe people who do not do or have the desire to do good works are lesser.

[3:113] They are not all the same; among the followers of the scripture (Christians, Jews, etc...), there are those who are righteous. They recite GOD's revelations through the night, and they fall prostrate.

[3:114] They believe in GOD and the Last Day, they advocate righteousness and forbid evil, and they hasten to do righteous works. These are the righteous.

[3:115] Any good they do will not go unrewarded. GOD is fully aware of the righteous.

[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; ANYONE who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
