Luck says "Things happen cuz I am lucky. I have magical things and can bring about my own fortune that way"

Divinity says "God is responsible for every thing that happens, good or bad"

Co-incidence says "things just happen, but I don't know why"

Consequence says "things happen cuz other things make them happen"

Astrology says "everything's gunna happen. it's in the stars"

Which do you believe?
I believe in Consequence. Things happen because things make 'em happen. God can intervine, but your choices are your own.

Luck beats skill and cunning everytime.

Of course, to be lucky, consider Karma; and then make your own luck.

Consequence mixed with co-incidence.

Clearly our actions cause reactions, but I do also believe in an element of co-incidence. For instance, I don't believe in prayer. The few prayers that appear to be answered are more likely to be co-incidence than consequence (co-incidence in your favour may be considered luck, but I don't believe a person or object can be inherently lucky or unlucky).

Being a born again Christian, I believe absolutely nothing comes into my life by chance. God knows every single thing that will ever come my way, and His word promises me that He will work all things for good.

Consequence.

And you said somewhere else that there is a 97% possibility of Jesus's rise from the dead. I'd REALLY like to know where you got that from, or how you came to that conclusion.

Unfortuntately, at the quantum level, there are uncaused events. Get that? Things happen, not because they were caused by something else, but because they *just happen.* So at its deepest level, physics -- science, not religion -- throws out your "consequence" theory.

There is no such thing as coincidence; there is no such thing as luck. Consequence and astrology each function under divinity.

woah, thats a good view of things....

what yu make of it makes you what u are.....

destiny has a nice ring to it, to think that things happened cuz it will.....

but yu can say that there aint no freedom in that aspect.....

keep up the good work man, and share your knowledge and views. who knows, your choices might just change things...

What you confuse as being coincidence is actually synchronicity.
