Well, it's not the Credit Card company themselves using your card and account. It's an actual person... most companies are very good about fraud. I know that Discover and American Express both are. Anyway....like I said, it's not the company, it's people that get ahold of your account. i think just getting a new card would be as far as you need to go. Make sure you get in contact with the company at the very first signs of fraud!

If it was a Visa your ok & not responsible for charges. How ever you may want to go on & get a new card from the same place. I did. It has happened 2 me several times. I replaced my card twice & after I filled out the fraud p/w I was credited back the money I did not spend. Hope this helps U.
