It's possible that she does wash her hair. Some people can wash their hair in the morning and in a few hours or by the end of the day, it's oily again. It's possible that your friend is not using the correct products for her hair. Suggest that the two of you go to a salon for free consultations to find out what you can do about your problem of ____________________ with your hair and the oiliness of hers. Or you can just buy her some professional products for oily hair and tell her you thought she might like to try them. Good luck.

Just say hon your hair is a little on the oily side maybe you should wash it more often then what you already are then she won't be as offended. or tell you have this great new conditioning treatment that you liked to try on her hair but she will have to shampoo it first Good luck but sometimes you just have to tell people things they don't like to hear!!!

Invite your friend over and do different hair styles and use lots of gels and hairspray and offer to wash your friends hair when you finish. Or just be honest and tell her.

Dont tell her just buy her some shampoo and tell her it works really good for you and will do the same for her so she'll wash her hair..

just kinda come out and say it. be like "ur hair looks kinda oily,have u washed it lately?" or "that shower last night felt so good,did u take a shower last night....?" and go on from there. theres really no nice way to say it,so try one of these.i kinda have the same problem with one of my friends.

Bring in a really off the wall brand and say something like " Oh my Gosh , you have just got to try this shampoo! It's so amazing."
Maybe she will go for it and not get her felings hurt. Good Luck.

Just tell her. I think if you try to beat around the bush, she may not get the point. Just tell her that you can smell it and she needs to wash it.

then later ask how she liked it
or just straight up tell her.. but it could be rude
