Only God knows who will spend eternity with Him. But I am sure that we will be surprised to see some people there and shocked we don't see other people there. Yes, I think of that day as I am sure many others do also. I like to wonder when I meet Christ, what will I say to Him, if anything, what will I do, if anything, will I be speechless?? Perhaps Christ Himself will be the first to speak. What will He say to me, what will He do??
What an awesome moment that will be, I will be talking to Jesus and when He is busy with someone else, I will be talking with Moses, David, Peter, Paul, Solomon... WOW, the list will never end. Good question, God Bless You....Peace.

Most people have no clue as to what those who are chosen to go to heaven to be with Christ will even do there.
This Scriptures basically is stating WHO made going to heaven possible, WHAT nationalities are chosen and WHAT they will be doing in heaven.
Remember that a Kings that rule over nothing would not fit the framework of God's purpose as stated above, so:
“Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth. - Matthew 5:5
"For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth" -Psalms 37:9
"And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace" - Psalms 37:10-11
"The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it." -Psalms 37:29
"For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited" -Isaiah 45:18
So really, the question should be..........."why are we not taught about the two distinct hopes in churches?"
Isn't that the real question here?

Heaven.. What an interesting idea! The souls without their brains, and detached from their physical bodies are happily gathering. Aren't they called ghosts? And they actually have a place in some unknown dimension of the universe to talk and chat with Jesus? Do they have milk and cookies, too? What about those very worthy souls of dead fetuses, do they expand to be fully grown in heaven or their souls remain small and tiny. I guess they would be called multi-cellular souls? Can they, too, talk and laugh and play reindeer games? Oh, no! That's a different fantasy. Sorry!

The ones going to heaven are the ones who freely admit they could never get there on their own. It's Jesus' substitutionary death on the cross that opens the gates. All you gotta do is trust in Him.
I don't think much about meeting people in heaven. There will be great scientists, war heros, murderers, thieves and lots of average folks like me. I'm more interested in meeting God.

I believe that we already knew some of those great people.. we met them while we lived in Heaven as Spirit Children of our Heavenly Father before coming to earth to get a physical body...
But yes, I do wonder sometimes what it would be like to meet someone like Moses, Einstein, Newton, Adam & Eve, etc.

Revelation talks about a "multitude" in Heaven all praising and singing and worshipping Christ. It says several times that every tribe, nation, and toungue will be represented.
And if you look at those that Christ loved and associated with on Earth, those He said He came to save - well there will be a lot of people in Heaven some churchgoers wouldn't have allowed. Former liars, adulterers, prostitutes, murderers, drunks, junkies, swindlers, homosexuals, slanderers, brawlers - we'll see them all around His throne, they'll just have been made new. Which you will be, if you're there.

What a freaking boring place heaven must be (if it exists, which I am confident it doesn't). Nothing to do but worship some pompous god who thinks he's all that and a leather jacket. Powerful enough to create an entire universe, but too stupid to prove his existence to those he created? Give me a break!
Forget that, leave me here or send me where the fun people are.

If there is a heaven, I'm guessing good people who strive to better themselves would get in. Not those claiming their religion as absolute truth and looking down on others belief systems. Just my two cents.

the in reality type of love that would want to favor to be unconditional is the affection between mom and father and babies. i recognize my spouse immeasurably, yet there are issues that would want to reason me to settle on some different person: he's responsive to if he ever hits me out of anger, however a lot as a tap, i'd be lengthy gone and that is no longer negotiable. a similar with pals: there should be situations to save the affection healthful. regrettably, many those who call themselves Christian declare that God / Jesus gained't love you except you do some thing, like "settle for" Him or say you're "saved." yet God's love is unconditional. no matter if you compromise for Him, love Him, make an apology, or bypass to church, God loves you. you've the alternative about no matter if to allow His like to heal you, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is continually there waiting for you, no count number what you do or do not "settle for."

probably people who do not want to hurt others. War would be unacceptable there. Greed and avarice would not be tolerated.
However there ould be lots to do for a million years or so just learning everything there is to know about the creative process that brought our cosmos into being. Then you could spend a couple of billion designing your own cosmos then you could spend a few million making it then you could redesign it to get rid of war greed and avarice.
