No. It doesn't do anything to help them but it will not hurt them.

l never heard of it being done twice but l guess the vet knew what he /she was doing . l thought that the booster was the last shot and it was only once. but l will say something to my vet because my dog is going to be board and train for obedience and l will go there also on some days. but if they need more booster then l want him to have his. l do know l am getting a kennel cough shot for him before he goes. but l really do not think that it will hurt your puppy but l guess that also has to do with how old he is. you forgot to mention that
