The way that they make the ink. What happens is your skin rejects the ink more than regular colors, so it is pulled out faster.
Same as white, or reflective colors.

Most people just go and get them redone in 2 years or so.

I got a blacklight tattoo almost 7 years ago and I can't even see it anymore.

I have one on foot and the UV ink doesn't glow anymore after 2 years but the ink works the same as normal tattoo ink! Make sure you care for it the same tho

no. they are not any different than any other ink. they are more translucent. think of colored high lighter compared 2 a regular marker. every1' body heals differently. every tattoo artist has a different technique or"heavy or light hand". the way color last on any individual will vary on how U maintain Ur skin & body :) I work w/ it.
