Unfortunately, the recidivism rate for child molesters is far higher than that of other crimes. It's a ingrained, sick compulsion that these scum cannot control. I agree that a death sentence is too kind- why should they have the luxury of dying when their victims have to live every single day for the rest of their lives trying to deal with what was done to them? I have said this before, and I still believe that EXTREMELY hard time- in a tent city someplace like Death Valley, just enough food for sustenance, and NO radios, books, TV's, gyms, basketball courts, nothing. Maybe they will actually think about how their actions impacted their victim's lives. I know this probably sounds unduly harsh, but my daughter's best friend was sexually molested by her step-father from the time she was 8, until he got her pregnant when she was 13. Nothing is too bad for this animal.

There is nothing wrong in keeping informed of what's going on in ones neighborhood...Try this link:

http://www.registeredoffenderslist.org/steps-to-protect-your-children.htm (registry of child offenders, the amber alert, safe kids, etc. ) Looks like a great site.

Good luck and be Safe...(smiles)

go to a search engine and write: Texas state Sex Offender Registry and then it should probably be the 1st or 2nd link on the list

check out www.familywatchdog.org. If you are not satisified with the limited information then talk with your local detectives.
