to believe falsehoods so that he can condemn them (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12)?

You're speaking about Satan. The greatest trick Satan will ever play on Man is to convince Man that he does not exist.

God is Truth and Salvation. Satan = lies and eternal damnation.

God does not cause deception, that is what satan does, he is the deceiver of this world. When a person does not have the blessing and protection of God surrounding them, they are open targets for spirtual attacks. Some of the spiritual attacks are, worldly religions, pornography, greed, drugs etc. Anything satan can use, he will use, to deceive you or get your mind on something else other than Gods truth. We are all led astray when we allow ourselves to be enticed and then pulled into sin, whatever that sin may be. Don't blame God, He gives us His Holy Word. A person can either accept it as truth, or a person can reject it as falsehood. God gives us all a free will to decide for ourselves, which path we will take. What you say in your question is a copout. Dont blame God, He gave you a brain and a free will to decide whom you will follow for all eternity.
God Bless You....Peace.

I read 2 Thessalonians ch.2 vs.1-17, and what I got out of the reading was this: It's not so much of God testing us, but the devil testing our faith that we say we have in God. The test is:Physically, emotionally, socially, mentally, and your Soul. If you give in to the test you start to see delusion, and think evil thoughts and give in to lust, greed, temptation(s) along with your faith in God.So the question is do you have faith enough to believe that God loves you and wants nothing but the best for all of his children Good or Bad! So do you feel like you are being tested? If you do feel like you are being tested you get to talk with God more and read the bible you will find your answer with in the bible. Then question is are you willing to listen to what god has to say. If you are willing to listen just give it sometime because God will answer you. But into then just keep reading the bible and you will have you answer to whatever problem you maybe going through right now. May God continue to bless you and keep you save through your trying times. I will keep you in my prayers Amen.

It is not God that causes people to believe falsehoods. It's that feeling called faith that assures us that we must be guided by some other intelligence and consciousness, someone all-knowing, all-powerful, because our brains have to make such effort to understand the difference between what exists and what doesn't. With faith, we can put together any possible contradiction, any violation of logic and be perfectly content. Reasoning takes so much energy, while believing is so simple. Any child can do it very well.

Of course, you don't want to overdo it and follow your faith too coherently and profoundly, otherwise you might really end up living what you preach and that can make you a religious extremist.

Faith can be tricky. If one feels it too strongly, with all his heart, it might even be dangerous. Look what happened to those 19 very religious people. One day, in the depth of their faith, they heard God command them: "Take charge of airplanes full of passengers and fly them into the Twin Towers of Manhattan. Kill as many infidels as possible and you will be rewarded in Heaven."

God had appeared and talked to other people of great faith more than two thousand years ago. He even commanded Abraham to demonstrate his faith by taking his son to the mountain to be butchered. On that day, God contented himself with Abraham's obedience and stopped him just in time. Wasn't that a good moral story to tell children?

You forgot to mention the overall context of the verse which contains the answer.

"The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the power of Satan. He will use every kind of power, including miraculous signs, lying wonders, and every type of evil to deceive those who are dying, those who refused to love the truth that would save them. For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie. Then all who have not believed the truth but have taken pleasure in unrighteousness will be condemned."

The reason they will believe the lie? They refused to love the Truth. They refuse to believe the Truth. They take pleasure in unrighteousness.

What is the lie? There is no God. Jesus is not God. Allah is God. Everyone who is sincere goes to heaven. Everyone goes to heaven. There is no hell. You must earn your way. You have to be "good" to get to heaven. And on and on and on....

God loves His creation and provided a way out. But people refuse to use the one way out. Just as a building has an emergency exit, so also God provided us a way to escape punishment. But if you refuse the way out, how can you blame God?

If you really read the bible God tells you he is a loving God and he also tells you he is a vengeful God. People keep trying to assign God attributes that they think God should have in their mind. God acts in his will not the will of humans. People think that if there is a Gods he would not allow suffering, but that is just wishful thinking. He gave mankind freewill to make choices and also said that there would be punishment for choosing against him.

Well,For one because we are all guilty and all He asks is that we believe in His Awesome Son.Would you stop to consider watching your son go through all that crap for a bunch of worthless suckers that only want to focus on their problems and how they can make themselves feel better? And as far as you would go they wouldn't even really want to spend an hour with you on Sunday. We are so worthless that God had to send His ONLY begotten Son to go through what each and every one of us rightfully deserves because there was not one soul on the planet halfway decent enough to do what had to be done.Take Care and May God Bless You.

How do you derive that? I translating you have to watch it because our english does some scriptures little justice. The verbs can be both passive and agressive, they mean one thing and we translate it another. IT may say God caused when it should be translated God permitted (Free Will).

God's Holy Spirit will be gone, so people will naturally not want to come to God. Also, ask God.

He knows the answer.
