Not in my experience, no. Be sure to have a birth certificate and social security card. If they have photo ID, bring it with you to make things easier. My 17 year old sis has been flying (unaccompanied) from TX to PA to visit us 2x a year for about 5 years. Her mom used to show her ID to drop her off, and I would show mine to pick her up, and reversed on the trip home, but that was when she was flying as a registered unaccompanied minor, so that was part of the procedure we paid for. Now that she flies alone, employees started asking for photo ID about 2 years ago (when she obviously looked a little older)... up til her last trip, I always just said she's under 18 and showed my ID. Never had a problem. To be safe - call the specific airline you're flying or check their website.

In the US children under 18 do not need a photo ID for domestic travel (though the agent may ask if the child looks older). They will need a passport for international travel.

it relatively is not any longer required for somebody (regardless of if a toddler or an person) to have an identification whilst flying. All you are able to desire to do once you get to protection, is declare "no identification" and additionally you would be placed by extra advantageous protection screening and allowed by to the gate.

Not for domestic flights in the Philippines, only international.

I assume you live in the Philippines since you didn't state it.
