" I wont change my ways for anybody" How should I feel about this just in general conversation? How would you feel if a person told you this?

Well.. either she thinks the guy isn't worth it and its using this as an excuse, or she's really stubborn! I believe a relationship is an opportunity for growth, and there is no growth without change (we even physically change when we grow). If I love someone, I would do my best to change something for our sake.

You have to give us the context of the situation:

Was it in the context of "I' don't sleep with someone on the the first date and I'm not changing my ways for you"

or was it..
I eat a cheese sandwich and a glass of milk at 3:00 PM daily and I'm not going to change my ways for you...

I would say I respect that. I wouldn't.t try and change anybody because I wouldn't want them to change me. You cant turn some body into someone YOU want them to be or someone they are not. People are set in there own unique or even odd ways and if you can't accept it then oh well time to say "I respect you for your honesty but I can't accept or respect how you act or who you are".

I'll think, "stuborn little bastard." If I'd just met them, I would never see them again. But, if I've been dating them for some time- I would have second thoughts on whether I should leave. Unfortunately- I have encountered this problem with my 3 year relationship- and well, I'm still planning my leave.

she probably had a man try to change her and it did not work out to good..but i have found out that most people are flexible weather they want to admit it or not.. but if her ways are not something you like then you may want to look elsewhere.. because there are some people who will not change but want you to be what they want you to be...i don't want to change my ways but i will meet my bf in the middle and comprise

listen to her. It's just like when a guy tells his GF he won't ever get married-then she wais around for years hoping he'll want to marry her even though he told her right from the start he won't

well no one should have to change there ways for anyone.they are who they are,why change for someone when you wouldn't be that true real person ,it's like living a lie.it's all about just being yourself.

That she's independent, and she's warning you - if there's something you don't like about her, get over it, she's not changing. We like to put it all out there early, so you can't claim to be surprised later.

It means: quit trying to change her dude. As fu*ked up as some people are, you just can't do it.
