Oh yeah. It's really irritating when any of those high profile people get on here and ask for definitive answers to questions that don't have any difinitive answers.
Bono wanted to know what to do to wipe out the world's poverty.
H. Clinton wanted us to tell her how we would wipe out breast cancer.
And know this guy wants us to tell him how to wipe out terrorism.
None of the goals they propose are attainable and they know it. They ask these questions so we become preoccupied with what amounts to a snipe hunt--running around in circles looking and hoping for something that doesn't exist. It makes me wonder what they are doing to us behind our backs while we spend time thinking about their non-sensical propositions.
It's ironic that those high-profile people ask us for definitive answers when they themselves never give a simple yes-or-no answer to a simple yes-or-no question that we ask them.

SERIOUSLY, i check yahoo answers everyday but i din get a chance to do so since last 2 weeks and just got to check the blog from the indian president. (It's a great method , i guess)
But i am DISHEARTENED to look at this blog. NO Matter how hard all these people try but NEGATIVE or I DON GIVE SH!!T kind of people are always gonna bring not only them but all of us down.
what the heck - do you think personally anything will happen to the president if something goes wrong in UNITED STATES or in IRAQ????????????????? but do you know why it has been put up here ------------------- to give some knowledge or light in other words, light to negative and dark minds like the ones on here.
YOU DONT UNDERSTAND ----------------- THE BASIC IDEA IS TO let everybody know and share our common goals of peace and prosperity , happiness in our lives.
you might have checked it out 10 times and may be even wrote a long answer in there ------------ but again the point is not to forget it (thinking - it was fun and i wrote a great answer) point is to appreciate it and to propagate it more and more - so that everybody , even the dumbest person understands how important peace , love and support is in everybodies life.

No. Terrorism is the burning issue of the 21st century. It is not an Indian or Pakistani or Afghan issue as you seem to think. It has affected us (Remember 9/11?) here and it affects rest of the world. If the question annoys you, move on.
Incidentally get your facts straight. Dr. Kalam is a man and he is a real life rocket scientist. I would rather read his question than a petulant response like yours.

No. I think the question is important and if nothing else compels people to give a thought to a problem which is looming above the head of all humans irrespective of where u r on planet earth. Any question which holds relevance in today's times should be left for sometime for people to read and ponder.

The president of India is taking the cheap way out.
There are parliaments in India and it is a democracy so this question should be directed to Indian politicians..

Nah. Yahoo is as liberal in it's 'reporting' as the New York Times. You just get used to it after awhile.

Everyone is able to post their question and extend it so that it's up for a week. I don't see what your problem is.
