I am 5'6' and 16. am i too tall?

your height is your asset, cause you can be paired with different nationalities. you can be with tall people and at the same time with short people without having to bother about your height cause you would still fit in. i would say that you must be very thankful with that height cause you are in the middle of tall and short people all over the world. you can also use different kinds of footwear to adjust your height making you increase or just retain it. so i say again it is an asset dear.
