dont give him any ultimatums...if he does have u guessing all the time back away..don't assume, ask questions or accuse anything just back away and play it cool...he'll come around as soon as he thinks your not interested anymore because he's gonna wanna try and win your affections back...trust me

Men aren't necessarily "jerks" as some have posted here. (Shallow minds, and all) Sometimes, it's hard for men to relate their honesty and true emotions. It's easier to string along and hope things fall apart on their own, rather than having to fess up and admit the truth. Unfortunately, it's not the best of choices in ending a relationship. A lot of it has to do with maturity, too. You just have to prod and poke and pull the information from them, eventually they'll cave and admit they want the break.

cause the word "breaking up" or "its over" seems too unbearable..so they beat around the bush.
i believe it goes both ways for guys and girls.
and it's part of the reason why men and women cheat.
they're afraid to lose that friendship they have with you..so they string you along..while they date other people behind your back =/
i would say...if he doesn't give you that 100% u deserve..then just call it quits. it may be a hard thing to do. but atleast you won't be sstringing onto a relationship that wasn't making you happy.

Men being men can't be alone. So until they found a replacement they want to keep you hanging on. My current boyfriend does this. Makes me wonder who will be my replacement.

Most guys have a fear of losing face; as well as being the one blamed for the problems.
I think guys, as well as gals don't want to be the one to hurt to other. They are afraid to be looked at as the one causing problems. They also lack self-confidence and trust in themselves.

Good for you. i had a moron lead me on for like 3 years before i finally relaized he was ruining my life and cussed him out and told him just that. i said you shoudla said you just didnt want me instead of stringing me along you a*hole i wanna beat your ***. bEter you dump him before you get as mad as i was . good job girl ! besides there are lots of men out there who needs a loser like that

BECAUSE THEY ARE UNSURE OF THEMSELVES.....THEY AREN'T SURE IF THEY WANT TO BREAK UP OR STAY TOGETHER, SO THEY LEAVE IT UP TO THE WOMAN TO DECIDE FOR THEM.
