I think if you recognise that a family member was cute when they were young etc, is kind of sweet- most parents think their sons/daughters are the most gorgeous on earth (though I think that's a pride/ego thing!).
I think being physically ATTRACTED to a family member is a little unusual... I wouldn't go round telling people anything like that as they may say mean things about you.

The only thing that would make it weird is if you feel like they are hot right this minute. We are human and we have feelings and yes hormones. It is the hormones that tell us what we think and see in a person. My father was a very good looking teenager. My brothers were too, wonder what happened?lol

I don't think there's anything wrong with seeing the attractive features of your family members and recognizing those features as attractive. My mom was and is a beautiful woman, and I can see why women are attracted to my dad (he's a flirt).
I think it's just human nature to recognize attractive features in other human beings.

Its not weird as long as it's just recognizing the person as being attractive. But if you are sexually attracted to this family member then thats where the weirdness starts.

No, not at all. Those are familiar traits to us, and as we settle, we're more likely to be attracted to people who look like us. I think you're saying attracted when you mean find attractive, and that does make a big difference. But even if you really do mean attracted to family, it's not a big deal, as long as one doesn't act on it.

If you are only admitting that your cousin is attractive or something, there's no problem there. I mean, just because you admit someone is attractive doesn't mean you are on the verge of shagging them.
However, if you find yourself aroused and/or masturbating to the thought of them, then yeah, it's weird.
