Why is it not OK for guys to look at other women, but it is OK for women to look at other guys?

I'm totally OK with my guy checking out other women. In fact, I point them out to him. We're comfortable with each other, and he knows I'm not going to hesitate to look at men.
Guess it depends on the situation.

It's not really "ok" either way. I think the idea is that women are less likely to act on seeing a hot guy, whereas people think men are more likely to act on seeing a hot girl, I guess.
My boyfriend and I talk openly about attractive people. Might as well embrace nature, not push it away.

Lol I'm a girl and I prefer a guy who will not bring soo much of the opposite sex around with their looks .. Maybe the guys don't want all their attention to be given away on their girl .. And as for ugly guys with hot girls they are proud of what they get lol

Since when ... is it not okay for guys to look at women??? When did human nature stop progressing? Who makes up these stupid rules, anyway? Let's face it, we're human. We ALL look, men >AND< women. If we didn't .... there would be serious consequences.

it depends on the relationship. in all technicalities, if two of you are going out, his eyes should be on you and vice versa. there is no right or wrong and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. i consider it a form of cheating. and by looking, i mean leering and doing a double take. not a glance. because inevitably you will look, because your programmed to.
if you want to look at other guys, go ahead - but only after he looks at someone else - a taste of his own medicine.

i think it is ok for my bf to look at other women.. he taken not dead
and he feels the same way.. as long as we dont over do it and make a lot of comments about the other person then no feelings get hurt

Because most women are insecure little girls who think that if their man truly loved and desired them that they (the man)wouldn't have to look elsewhere. Well you know what, I say bah. As long as my man isn't touching anyone but me, I don't really care who he looks at.

because all guys are pervs and all they think about when they look at other women is what they would look like w/o clothes...women however just admire the "clothed" person for what they look like.
