Why is there bias in your question? "Anti" anything has a negative connotation in it. "Pro" has a positive connotation.

"Choice" offers a detour around the touchy word "abortion" with its clear meaning that something is to be aborted or killed--in this case, an unborn child. Those who favor a right to abortion are "pro-choice" and their anti-abortion (or better, pro-life) opponents are "anti-choice."

Think about this: In Mary's day, she would be an unwed expectant mother, whose husband to be was about to divorce her. Had she the opportunity, Jesus might never have been born, given the climate these days.

it is interesting that you chose the wording "anti-abortion" instead of "pro-life". That alone reveals to myself and other observant answerers that you are pro choice.

anyway, Christ loved children, and there was never any inclination that He would have killed a baby - born or not. Abortion was something that did occur in the Roman Empire but not in Judea. His immediate mission was to come to Earth to tell JEWS what TO do, not what NOT to do (revelation that now applies to His church), so His ministry was affected very little by what happened in the distant parts of the Empire.

However, since there are so many scientific evidences - not emotional decisions - that show it is in fact murder when one kills or "aborts" an unborn child.

there are many Christians and non out there trying to heal from the emotional wounds caused by abortion. One thing i know for certain is that Christ would have treated those women a lot more lovingly than half the Christians in our culture today do.

God gave human beings free will, so i guess that would be pro choice right there(not even having to refer to abortion, but everything!)Pro choice only means wanting people to make there own decisions - FREE WILL.Pro choice does not mean pro abortion. Now if you meant pro abortion, I would assume Jesus would not be.

Neither. Abortion is never discussed in the Holy Scriptures and none of the accounts ever documented Jesus' teachings on it. Since Jesus was a Rabbi who kept the Jewish tradition and since abortion is not discussed, why would you think Jesus would address this issue?

If you want to know Jesus' position, you have four (and only four) accounts.

Life starts at conception not birth. The only time that I presently see abortion as being o.k. presently is when the potential mother's life is at risk.
I do not if the asker calls that position pro-life or pro-choice currently.

The LORD GOD is anti-abortion. He blessed Adam and Eve at creation: "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it." Genesis 1:28. This will be so if there is no hindrance at procreation.

Jesus never intended anyone to kill another especially babies. When you chose to abort a child, you change what God had planned for that child. The child could have been someone who had a cure for a diseases, or a great Evangelist, or a great singer. We have no right to stop a child from coming into this world. It is premeditated murder. Thou Shalt Not Kill. It is sin.

anti-abortion (pro-life). Jesus doesn't want people to take life into their own hands.
