I Have an old style Pom.. 27+ LBS worth.. more Spitz than pom the way most people think about em these days... what they were befor the shunk um in to tecup size.. (7 LBS or less) They are very barkey.. quick to join a fight.. and well.. pretty much fearless in a fignt.. (in fact they will look for one if none exists) Very loyal.. stick to thier bonded owners litter mates etc... etc.. but generally listen and will accept outsider Mutts if told to do so...

Old school Poms are sled dogs.. and thats what I Have... they are very very single minded.. and very very loyal to who they live with .. Oh and they can bite like a ***** lemme tell ya if they get PO'd with you or anyone else.. great guard dog though.. and very intelligent (better than me on the IQ scale and thats pretty high LOL) HINT.. you have to adapt as much as they do.. its a trade off ya wanna submissive lap dog? get a submissive lap dog.. its kindda like choosing a human mate.. domme or submissive.. take yer pick but never confuse the 2.. eh?

Am. Eskimo's are very loyal to their families but tend to be high energy, barky and can be aggressive. They can also have allergy problems which require some to visit the vet often.
