First you need to see a doctor for antibotics.
Then do these home rememidies- to help it heal faster and so next time it won't happen.
Buy Simpliy Saline ( the spray)- moisturize the area, so the mucus can get out.
This is gross- its old fashioned and it works.
Make a batch of salt water- (boil water-2 cups, 1/4 cup of epson salt) let it cool to room tempature.
Get a large plastic glass of drinking water.
Take it all to the bathroom sink, get a large nose syringe, fill it up with salt water and lean over the sink and squirt it up your nose (hard and fast), it will kinda burn and taste like hell-open your mouth- cause it comes out your nose and mouth. Quickly rinse with drinking water-in your mouth. Do each side 3-5 times each- the stuff that will come out of your nose and throat will be horrid, and it will really help you flush out that infection and get better. Trust me- find the best way to "do" this- I have a friend who uses a waterpik to do it. Good luck
If you "Steam your nose" cover your head over the sink of HOT WATER for about 15 minutes prior to this treatment, it is much more effective. You will hacking up and clearing out mucus for at least 10-20 minutes. Then use that "Simply Saline" to just wash it out.
Just had sinus surgery one year ago!
It really really worked- hurt like hell- won't lie!
It was worth it, every moment of pain was worth today's sinus!

theres really no sure fire way to get rid of a sinus infection unless you go to the doctor and get one of the shots or some antibiotics. but i do know a good way to prevent them. its called a sinus flush and you can get it at like walgreens or anywhere like that, and you just fill this bottle up with warm water and it has a long tube on the end and you put it in your nose and shoot the water in it and it cleans out your sinuses. might not be the most "comfortable" thing in the world, but it keep sinus infections away for the most part.

You'll need antibiotics for the infection. To help it along, get a washcloth wet, heat it up in the microwave for a couple minutes.Lay the cloth across your cheeks, eyes, forehead. You'll feel the sinuses open up and start draining. Massage the cheeks also, feels great.

you can snort salt water
but once it gets to the infection stage you need to go to a doctor
if you leave it long enough you could lose your sense of smell then eat bad food because you couldnt tell it was bad...
