Give off a good first impression; first impressions may not be true, but they do last. That's the best way to start off, and since you're talking about approaching a girl, it seems you're girl-shy, huh?
Well smile at her, have your manners, all the little things that are nice make her feel like a princess. Open the door for her, do her a small favor; but don't overdo anything or let them get away with too much. I like a guy who can smile, listens to you (that's a plus), and especially knows how to beat boredom and start a conversation (and I'm talking about meeting a guy for the first time).

Very important: just approach her, and feel secure yourself. Make sure you feel comfortable.

Do NOT listen to Minna. DO NOT treat girls like princesses. At least not at first. Jesus christ. Okay, believe it or not a good opener is......"hi" no kidding. Girls hate bullcrap lines. But these tards are right about one thing first impressions are important. You need Confidence. say it three times. honestly. you have to get your insides right, girls can smell fear and weakness like dogs. Work on the inside and the outside just fixes itself. Try this. you see a girl that you wanna talk to. then think of how a guy that would usually date that girl would act, how he would walk, posture, etc, then do that. okay good luck, have fun. and remember hot girls are everywhere don't start thinking they are scarce, cuz they're not.
