I'm sure she's fine! Call her pediatrician at a decent hour just to report it and get ideas of things to look out for (like signs of dizziness or falling asleep quickly and deeply,) in case it happens again or is something more serious next time - of course we all hope there is never a next time! I
f you're really concerned and it's not a good time or convenient to call the regular Dr., call a local hospital's ER and ask to speak with a nurse to see how they feel about it.
Again, I'm sure she's fine. You might also want to keep on hand "What to Expect the 1st Year" and/or "What to Expect The Toddler Years" (get them cheaper at Wal*Mart or from a friend who has kids that have grown out of them). While I don't take anything in those books as gospel or anything, I do use them as a reference as to when I'm "over-reacting" or when I need to call the Dr. as I'm screaming down the highway to the hospital. lol, it's helpful!

She sounds fine since she's acting normally. Contrary to popular belief a bump is a good sign (unless it's extreamly painfull to the touch or keeps on swelling). My daughter fell down a flight of wooden stairs when she was 16 months old so I remember what the pedi told me to checl for over the phone. make sure her pupils dilate when you flash light into the, that the bump doesn't continue to swell, and that she's acting normally. if she seems confused at all she needs to be seen. Also, if she falls asleep (like most kids do after a scare or hurt) wake her up ever so often and make sure she's acting OK.

She is most likely fine. My daughter fell off of a swing and hit the back of her head. She didnt pass out but a few minutes later felt sick and vomited. I took her to the ER and it was very scary. She threw up about five more times. Turns out she had mild concussion. My dr. told me that you really dont need to worry about slight head bangs unless child gets sleepy, is walking and falling down or vomiting. just watch her to make sure that she acts normal.

Yes she is probably fine, but keep a eye on her to make sure she doesn't act differently while playing. Take your fingers and rub around the bump to make sure you don't feel anything and to see if it hurts her when you are touching it. If she doesn't cry or flinch when you put a little pressure on it she's fine.
