Hey, im a junior in high school and ive been through this so listn up mmkay.

your bet friend has no reason to be upset with you because your relationship with this guy does not, in any way, have an impact on her daily life ....i assume... plus your girl friend should be understanding with the thought that you arent her and your relationship just might suceed where theres failed and as your best friend she should respect that

hmmm...depends what they broke up about...if there is a definate hate hate thing going on...then dont. there is genearally a rule that you dont go out with your friend's ex's. but then again...it depends how much you like this guy and how much of a friend this person is. i would say that if you really like him, ask him out and go with the flow, except dont keep it a secret. trust me, from past expirences, secrets always come out in the end, and if they go on for a long time, it doesnt turn out to become pretty...

Us guys have a "don't date your friend's ex" rule, i don't know about girls. Needless to say, I think what you're doing is very dangerous.

From my perspective, I think your bff is worth much more to you than this boy. Use your head, not your heart. I say this because your heart is going to tell you to go in a different direction every day, so it's kind of unreliable right now.

Put yourself in your friends shoes. Would you like her to keep something like that from you. Secrets from friends are not good. Just be honest with her.

Umm how about growing up and respecting your best friend for starters.
