That particular model year Expedition has been known to have coolant leaking onto cylinder #4 coil, causing the misfire that you are experiencing. It generally leaks coolant from the heater hose, where it is clamped onto the metal junction to the intake manifold at the right/rear corner of the engine. To repair, requires replacing cylinder #4 COP (coil-on-plug), and tightening up, or replacing the said clamp to repair the coolant leak at the said junction, eliminating any possiblity for further leakage, and in turn, any possibility of damaging the new coil. This is the cylinder at the very back of the passenger side bank. If you have auxilary A/C and heat, it will be a bit of a pain to access with those hoses in the way. I have copied an illustration of the exact problem I'm describing to you here.

Sounds similar to when my car blew a head gasket and was sucking anti-freeze through the engine cylinders ( very very bad). Can't be for sure though, take it to a mechanic and have them take a look at it.

I'm thinking you mean the cylinder "missed" as in mis-fired? If that is the case it could be as simple as a spark plug with an oversized gap (worn), a bad spark plug wire, ignition coil needs replacement. Or if it is fuel injected, maybe the injector needs cleaning or replacement.
