its a 2000 v rg dawoo lanos 1.3 and when it wentfor its mot the mechanic said...the nearside handbrake performance was slightly down,any ideas???

How would you know it is down on one side. The hand brake is not normally used for stopping, but for holding. Are you drifiting, doing racing turns, or showing off for the girls?

Simply needs adjusting if its just the handbrake performance.

take the wheel of, remove the hub, adjust the shoes from there, if shoes are worn, replace shoes on both wheels
