She just got laid off her job (lack of available work), only gets unemployment, applied for jobs, no one called yet, needs food, medicine, and utility bills are past due. If she claims 'non-citizenship' (not a citizen anymore) couldn't she get medicaid, food stamps, subsidized housing, could drive w/o paying for car insurance, etc?

(Of course this is not true, it is a scenario to show how Americans are being railroaded. I wouldn't really do it.) We might be better off leaving, denouncing our citizenship and returning as an illegal alien. We would be at home, but would get all the benefits we've already paid into the system for 30 to 40 yrs. or more before the real illegals use it all up. If we wait until we need it or until we retire it won't be there.

It's just something to think about. They're breaking into our "Piggy Bank".

5 million of our older Americans have not signed up yet for their
Medicare, Part D, drug plan------they are old and confused. We are NOT going to grant them an extension.
However, 12 million illegal aliens are in our country and we are going to allow them to stay, protest, procreate, receive support monies, attend schools, avoid paying income taxes, have our teachers take 300 hours of ESL(English as a Second Language) training at our expense, etc.

WE MUST REALLY DISLIKE OUR OLD PEOPLE.....OR WE MUST REALLY LOVE TACOS!!!

If it ticks you off, pass it on!!

Renunciation of U.S. Citizenship

A. THE IMMIGRATION & NATIONALITY ACT

Section 349(a)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) is the section of law that governs the ability of a United States citizen to renounce his or her U.S. citizenship. That section of law provides for the loss of nationality by voluntarily performing the following act with the intent to relinquish his or her U.S. nationality:

"(5) making a formal renunciation of nationality before a diplomatic or consular officer of the United States in a foreign state , in such form as may be prescribed by the Secretary of State" (emphasis added).

B. ELEMENTS OF RENUNCIATION

A person wishing to renounce his or her U.S. citizenship must voluntarily and with intent to relinquish U.S. citizenship:

appear in person before a U.S. consular or diplomatic officer,
in a foreign country (normally at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate); and
sign an oath of renunciation

Renunciations that do not meet the conditions described above have no legal effect. Because of the provisions of section 349(a)(5), Americans cannot effectively renounce their citizenship by mail, through an agent, or while in the United States. In fact, U.S. courts have held certain attempts to renounce U.S. citizenship to be ineffective on a variety of grounds, as discussed below.

The tricky part is you have to do this in a foreign country.
If you did this in Mexico the Mexicans would ship you further south.
Cause you ain't a U.S citizen anymore and you ain't a Mexican citizen.
So what are they gonna do with you?

sounds like a rash move

she just needs to wait a little longer, until she totally runs out of money...and then she can get what illegals get....but what illegals get is what poor people get. if they are illegal and rich, they don't get it. so...really, what you want to know is how can she claim poor...and that's easy...she is on her way to it with no job, so i'm sure it will happen soon enough.
