and I am new to driving on icy roads.I have driven in snow before, but I know there's no perfect car to drive in ice. Do you have any safety tips for driving in icy conditions? Thank you!

drive slowly and maintain a constant speed if possible. braking on ice is bad- on icy hills, its worse. if you find yourself going downhill, drop your car- if its automatic- into "D 1". if your car is manuel, stay in 2nd gear. good luck!!!!!

Drive very slowly and don't try to use your brakes while on a patch of ice!
Infact your better off not being on the road at all! Take your time!

best advice- stay home, if you absolutely positively must drive as if you have no breaks at all and minimum steering control, because thats exactly what you have on ice
