Nowhere in the Bible,Koran, and whatever the Jews read after watching woody allen\ mel brooks flicks... Have I seen a passage where it forbids a person from worshipping themselves. So I'm considering a modest 50 to 60 foot statue with a lighting bolt in one hand and myself holding the globe on the other. Any further suggestions on how I could make a statue of myself, more awe inspiring and worthy of your worship? As a deity in training, I thank you in advance for your postive feedback.

Wow! You most cetainly do not read any Bible that I am aware of...Ex 20:3 -"You shall have no other gods before me.
De 5:7 - "You shall have no other gods before me.
Jud 10:13 - But you have forsaken me and served other gods, so I will no longer save you.
Jer 16:13 - So I will throw you out of this land into a land neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.'
and these are just a FEW verses!
May the Lord forgive you for your blasphemous statements!

De 4:29 - But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Throughout the Bible God put up with alot of bull from the Hebrews, but whenever the people turned to idolitry that is when he would wipe them and other nations out and scattered them.

Go ahead, take you chances.

When the antichrist puts the statue to be worshipped in the temple, you will understand what I mean.

The reason Jesus didn't show himself directly to the Israelites is because he didn't want them making graven images of Him. So, if making a statue of Jesus is a graven image than I would suppose that one of yourself would be moreso....however, by your question I am presuming that you probably already worship yourself, and a statue would just be icing on the cake!! What you need to do is make a couple of predictions, call yourself a prophet, and collect 10% of your followers money, and sit back and roll in the dough. Hey, why not thats what alot of religions do today!!

Of course that's idolatry, and on top of that it's a sin to worship a thing. It's just like what happened in Daniel with King Neb and how he built a bronze staute of himself. It's also a sin because if you're full of your self, God wont have room to use u as he plans, and if God can't use u, u might as well b dead.

sorry hope your not that arrogant but yes it is in the bible God said there will be no other Gods before me,its very possible that a shrine of yourself would be considered an idol when God was giving moses the 10 commandments He was very upset about their statue God is certainly meek but no mistake He isnt weak I would certainly reconsider about that lightning bolt

Man is a false god according to the Bible (Gen. 3:5&6). One does not need an image of self to be as a god.

Yes. Its better to worship the real deal, YOUR REAL BODY than a fake one. Afterall, its your REAL body that gives you life, and sustains your presence here. Dont worship the body made with the hands of man, worship the man.
