what is best for a horse barn?

I have a friend that would like to make his horse barn look old.on the inside we thought about putting fake stone or vinly siding that looks like stone. The fake stone is made of concrete.what would be better?Any help would be appreceiated Thank You

The fake stone might be good for the foundation, but buying an old barn and reconstructing it with a loft for dropping the hay down would be best. A two story barn is best or at least a floor and a half with a tack shop downstairs.
