At the Shenzen border, look for the Visa section after exiting the Lo-Wu station from Hong Kong. But the wait time can be up to 3 hours.
I suggest that from Hong Kong, look for a local travel agent and ask for a group visa. This cost me half the price of the visa if thrut he border.

Not sure about any of the other stations but Lo Wu for sure. You could also try the numerous travel agents in Hong Kong called China Travel Service to arrange a visa. It may take a couple of days to arrange but saves loads of hassle.

You can get a visa in Hong Kong at the Chinese office i did this many times it takes one day,you must copy all things and have your photos ready to save time, most air ports have a visa office like Beijing,Shanghai and Chongqing. If you do a yahoo search it will find the visa form and where you can obtain a visa.

Depends on what nationality you are. But i would suggest you go to a hong kong travel agent to get it done, for peace of mind and reliablility though it may be more expensive, like Win's travel or China Travel Service.

yes, you can buy a 1time visa to Lo Wu, if you apply it on weekday on business hour.
you have to check which country of passport do you hold? it may not accept for every passport. also, they charge different from different passport.
please notice: 12-2pm is lunch hour, they may not in service.
