All those who are initiated into Wicca are known as Wicca, whether they are male or female.

Wicca is a specific religion that incorporates witchcraft, as well as other forms of magic, as such Wicca are witches, whether you call someone who is Wicca a witch or not depends on how they feel about it, some prefer to be called witches where as others prefer to be called Wicca. Witch is also a gender neutral term.

Warlock comes from the Old English wǣrloga meaning deceiver, or "oathbreaker", thus is most commonly used to mean someone who has broken their oaths. Within Wicca in particular, as well as a lot of other witchcraft traditions this is a despicable thing to do, thus to call someone a warlock is a high insult – inner-court teachings of Wicca [beliefs, practices, doctrines, gods and mysteries] are kept within Wicca to maintain their paths integrity, all Wicca take oaths to promise not to tell people outside of Wicca about their path or what is done within the coven.

Wizard is a person with magical abilities, specifically someone who conjures, which is a different form of magic to that which witches use – witchcraft tends to be 'lower magic' meaning natural forms of magic, use of magic within religious context, and folk magic, where as wizards tend to be more 'high magic' such as ceremonial magic and sorcery. Wizards are also those who can 'know the future', a philosopher or sage, this was how they were regarded before a distinction was made between magic and philosophy.

Neither, He is a Wiccan. Wiccan is a gender neutral term. A male Wiccan can be called a Witch, that term is not necessarily gender specific either, no matter how much society has taken it to mean.

Male Wiccan is a witch. Witch is simply a practitioner of witchcraft, it has no gender. A wizard is a Ceremonial Magician of high rank.

Warlock as most people have come to understand it is from Bewitch. It was used for male witches. Warlock actually comes from:
'warlag,' 'warlau,' 'warlo'; developed from Old English 'waerloga' (before 900) demon, traitor, scoundrel, damned soul, monster; originally, oathbreaker ('waer' covenant, related to 'waer' true + 'loga,' agent noun related to 'leoggan,' to speak falsely, LIE1). The modern spelling warlock is Scottish, first recorded in 1685 (also Scottish 'warlok,' before 1585)." From "The Barnhart Concise Dictionary of Etymology: .

He'd be called a Witch. Warlock means oathbreaker and is an insult. Wizard is something nowadays associated with video games and role playing games, so I wouldn't advise that either.

He is a Witch. Most wiccans consider it a derogatory remark to be called a wizard or warlock.

You're going to hear a lot about how the term "warlock" means one who has betrayed a coven, etc... but I happen to know some covens in which a male witch is called a warlock and it's perfectly acceptable to them.
Wizardry is a completely different path from Wicca.

Generally speaking, in Wicca, a male is considered a witch.

I hope this helps.

yes, he's a witch. Wizard was a ficticious word to seperate the genders. Warlock literally means oath-breaker and is very offensive
