Matthew chapter 24. Jesus tells us exactly what will happen. Don't rely on Revelations for this because so much of it is spiritual and not to be taken literal. By the way, if you believe all this will happen, don't you think it's a good idea to come back to the Lord? He'll welcome you with open arms.

If I were you I'd recommit myself to Christ before tackling endtime prophecy. Might be hard for a non believer or a new believer to understand, especially the book of Revelation. That being said endtime prophecy is scattered all over the bible, especially in the new testament but also in the old testament as well. (The book of Daniel.) There's a little bit in the gospels, Jesus makes statements about the end times. There's also parts in Thesalonians and in Paul's 2nd letter to Timothy. But of course the most famous being the book of revelation. Also don't forget what two angels said to the apostles in Acts 1:10.

The Bible is one-third prophecy. Revelation is the book people go to most frequently, but Daniel has allot too. And it is scattered in other places as well. You would do better if you would ask me a specific question about what you want to know. I am pretty good at answering questions about the Bible.

Personally. I go with the mayan calendar. It says in december 2012 dont spend much on christmas. This current period of life will end on december 21st.

"12-21-2012, there is a once in 26,000 year alignment between the Sun & the Milky Way at dawn which to the Maya signified the dawn of a new world age."

Personally, i would see this source as more reliable than the bible, as the mayans used astronomy to make empirical estimates of events based on observations and evidence.
I dont think much of the bible is based on more than the ideas of a few aged monks in solitary confines, writing whatever came to mind... i could be wrong of course.

Frist and foremost do not worry about the end of the world, worry about your relationship with God. God is our heavenly father who sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ that whosoever believth in him shall have life everlasting. Ask where did we come from, why are we here, where are we going. We are spiritually begotten of the Father. We lived with Father in our fist estates with all of our brothers and sisters who were also begotten of the Father. When you read in Revelation you will see that a third of the host of heaven was cast out. This are they that can not have a body. We who have a body were obidient to the Father. Why we are here is to go through what is called our second estate in which we are tried and tempted. We all are born with the light of Christ to know good and evil and we in this life have our freedom of choice which is called free agency to chose. Those of use who chose good will do good tidings. Read the scriptures, pray often, go to church, listen to good music, refrain from gossip, evil speaking, associateing with the wrong crowd. For those who draw near to God, God draws near to them. And the more you try the harder satan will work to keep you from Him. Where are we going? If we have kept our second estate that is if we have been true to ourselves and lived a good life, helping others, caring, loveing. Then we will gain our reward in our third estate and that is to return to the Father. When we return we will no longer be spirites but will be immortal. A body of flesh and bone, as Christ has, for Christ is the resurection, a gift freely given to all mankind. Be it known that all will be resurected with a body of flesh and bone, but what state you are in a the time of your death is what state you will be resurected with. Such as if I die in my sins then I am resurected with my sins and held accountable for that which I have done. If I die with lots of good deeds, then I am resurected with a pure heart and praised for that which I have done. Frist you must repent, be baptist for this is the only way to get to heaven and then recieve the holy ghost who is your comforter, who will sustain you in all the good you do. He will also help you in your search of the scriptures.
