activating credit card?

i found this website: http://www.quizpoints.com/freebieClicked.asp?id=13239
it offers free $ 5.00 but requires activation . can i throw it away after using it all or do i still have to pay any fees?
also, what am i required to do exactly during activation process?

If you activate the card you're legally obligated to all of those fees! No! Don't do it!!!
