We were together for 3 years. It was great the first half, but then it got rocky. I started to get selfish, and I was consistently rude to her. Then I moved half way across the country, to then realize how stupid I was to act like that and lose the only person I ever fell in love with. I realize everything I did wrong, and I now know what i want, and need to do in order to make her happy again. Except she doesnt know what she wants to do now. It has been six months apart, I have given her plenty of space to think, but she still doesnt know what she wants. What can I do to help her realize that I have changed to the person that she wanted me to be before we broke up?

Make a list of all the reasons the relationship was good during the first 18 months. Then list the reasons why she drove you crazy. Then list the reasons of how you acted. Sometimes, it isn't the person that we miss, it is the actual being in a relationship that one misses. This could be the case here.

People shouldn't have to change their personality to make another person love them. If she really does love you, she would love you as you are.

You can't make someone see what they don't want to ( yeah it sucks, I know) but then actions speak louder than words. She might be unsure because you left her to move across the country, basically you shattered the confidence she had in your relationship. Now she isn't sure if she is enough for you, like should she make you half happy and be miserable with you or move on to find another prince charming who will treat her like a princess and be enough for him. At least this is my opinion, you can say what you will think to try to get her back but it's her decision and if she wants you.

she isn't ready to end it, but unwilling to come back either, think she may be seeing someone else, u just have to be patient, and hope she comes back. can't rush it or talk her out of it, have to accept it for whatever reason it is, keep the communication open, and the door open for awhile anyway. just show her by your actions that there has been a change, she will be able to see it by your new behavior. good luck

You've lost her, buddy. It's time to go make someone else unhappy.

If you really love her, let her find what she needs on her own. If its you, she'll let you know.
