I want to give her the best start in life :) She has all the best toys, lots of love and attention (especially from my 7 year old Staffy boy, now known as Mumma!). Any suggestions for the best way to start Training and obedience Training?
She seems very smart but is obviously very overwhelmed with the big change so I did not want to overload her too soon.. Any age too young to start Training?

If you know how to train for obedience you may start at any age at home. :o) Look around for trainers and training clubs... When the pup is 3-4 months old start a puppy kindergarten class. Make sure she has had all of her necessary shots (which will probably be required to join the class anyway). Socializing puppies is very important, so try to find a group class - not a private trainer. Congrats on the new puppy!!! Have fun!!!

hey i have a staffy that's going to turn 2 in april we started her at puppy school at 12 weeks old through petco its a 6 wk course then after she graduated from there we took her to basic training through petco also and that's also a 6 wk course it's $89 a class depending on location and what not but it's never too early to start training especially with a dog with such a bad reputation. and my dog after going through those courses doesnt chew jump up and can walk off leash no problem
