Should not be a problem. But airlines do require some form of id. Non-US issued id's, other than passports, would not be considered. So, if there is any form of American id (like driver license) or foreign passport, it is fine.

Yes, as long as you have your other valid ID issued by State. If you have drivers licence or State ID then yes. If you don't have any other valid picture ID - then no, bring your passport. When you fly domestically they ask for valid State ID. They don't ask if you are a US citizen or if you are on a visa or anything else like that. Note that a student ID or an employee card is not good enough.

I don't know but I do know that even U.S citizens need some form of legally recognized photo ID to fly now so I would assume you need to use your passport.

They can file internally once they have a valid US id for eg. a state id or a drivers license, green card. You don't need a passport.

Yes. The kicker is that you must present two pieces of identification with your photograph on them.
Sometimes, though, I get by with just one; but, why take the chance?
The bigger question, though, is how a non-citizen came to America without a passport!

you could honestly fly interior the USA of a w/o a passport, yet you've to educate authorities-issued image identity - your Canadian driving license ought to suffice. not particular about flying from the USA of a to Canada, however the airline can answer that.

I don't think so. No one asks me for a passport when I fly domestically.

Probably, passports are only checked on the inbounds from foreign countries, as long as they had other valid ID.

Of course not. Non U.S. citizens needs VISA to be able to fly across U.S. and other foreign countries and you could not get a visa without passport.
